SOFIA, February 28th 2001
- A ceremony is held in Neofit Rilski Street, where Peshev died in 1973. After a speech by Yordan Sokolov, Chairman of Bulgaria's National Assembly, a commemorative stone is laid in the building's wall.The stone is blessed by the dean of the orthodox seminary. Present at the ceremony are Ivan Kurtev, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, the Israeli ambassador, representatives of the Shalom and Zion associations, relatives and friends.

The German edition of the book

BERLIN, March 21st 2000 - The German edition of the book, "Der Mann, der Hitler stoppte", introduced at the Bundestag (Deutsche Parlamentarischen Gesellschaft, Kaisersaal, Ebert-Strasse 30, Berlin-Mitte) by Wolfgang Thierse, President of the Bundestag, Yordan Sokolov, Chairman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria, and Gabriele Nissim, author of the book. In the evening the author and his German translator, Peter Klöss, read excerpts from the book (at the Literaturhaus Berlin, Fasanenstrasse 23, Berlin-Charlottenburg).

An international conference commemorating people who acted to stop 20th century genocides is proposed.

The new book MILAN, September 24th 1998 - Gabriele Nissim's book on Dimitar Peshev introduced to the public at Milan's Teatro Franco Parenti, 14 Via Pier Lombardo, in a special dramatised presentation performed by Moni Ovadia.
